And to reach your ideal client you will have to market your product or service online. But you may not know where to start and neither do you have the time. And the bigger challenge is finding someone who knows digital marketing and knows your ideal prospect.

You see, the first thing you will need to do is create a buyer persona. In creating your buyer persona, you want to consider these five components:

  • Goals and values: what goals do your prospect want to achieve and what values are his or her top priorities?
  • Sources of information: what books, magazines, blogs, news stations, and other resources do they consume?
  • Demographics: Identify the age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, income, political preference, etc. of your persona
  • Challenges and Pain points: What gets in the way of your prospect achieving their goal?
  • Objections: Why will the prospect decide not to purchase your product or service?
